Winter Event Series

NAPLES, FL (February 5, 2021) – The United Arts Council of Collier County, in partnership with Paradise Coast Sports Complex, announce a duo of Winter Events featuring live music from local and regional musicians, an art exhibition with local artists, as well as festival-inspired food and beverages.

The first of these events, inspired by Mardi Gras, will take place on February 20, 2021 from 3 to 9 PM. The event will include local jazz musicians including Gerald Augustin, Dan Miller, Lew Del Gatto and more. Dan Miller built his reputation touring and recording with Harry Connick Jr., Wynton Marsalis, Maynard Ferguson, Woody Herman and Tom Jones. Lew Del Gatto was a member of the Saturday Night Live Band from 1975-2006 and toured and recorded with Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones and Buddy Rich.

Just a few weeks later, on March 13, 2021, a St Patrick’s Day-inspired event will feature bands like West of Galway, as well as traditional Irish dance by Kellyn Celtic Arts. West of Galway’s Bernie Green takes the stage with his vocals and guitar, along with Stephen Stadler on fiddle, bringing an undeniable Irish sound to Southwest Florida. Guitar, banjo, mandolin and bagpipes can also be heard from this local band.

Whether you prefer a low country boil or a pint of your favorite brew, you’re sure to have a great time at these events. Tickets are limited and can only be purchased online:

“Paradise Coast Sports Complex is thrilled to partner with the United Arts Council, providing an outdoor space to safely celebrate local musicians and artists while helping our community,” said Amy Fouty, General Manager of Paradise Coast Sports Complex. “Collier County has created the perfect venue to host events like these for the local community. An outdoor music festival and art exhibit, along with culinary treats that pay homage to the individual festivals, create a perfect way to indulge all of your senses in paradise.”

A portion of proceeds from these events will benefit the United Arts Council of Collier County, serving the residents of Collier County and providing arts education for underserved children and adults in our community.
